This hose reel cart is a workhorse. Its sturdy construction gives it a fairly solid feel, and its wide base stabilizes the hose-reeling action. It rolls relatively smoothly, and the crank turns well, though the low height of the crank makes it less comfortable to use while standing. There are some nice features that make this Reel Easy a viable choice. Plastic notches hold loose hose ends and are easier to use than the snaps on other reel carts, and the top handle can fold down, enabling easy storage, though the mechanism that releases the handle can be a bit stiff to operate. Best of all, however, is the happy fact that this item comes preassembled, and that feature is worth a lot. If you don't need the larger capacity and storage tray of the more expensive version, this cart should suit you well.
